Maths Challenge

For my homework this week it was:

Walt Disney needs some help labelling his cast and crew’s pigeonholes. His secretary has given him directions.Mickey Mouse

Peter Pan
Aladdin
Captain Hook
Woody
Lilo
Goofy
Winnie The Pooh
Eeyore
Donald Duck –second row third column
Goofy – 2nd column, 4th row
Winnie the Pooh – new member
Eeyore – last column
Lilo – 4th row
Stitch – last column, 1st row

The way I filled in my grid in was that I was able to slot in some of the names straight away, because it gave me row and column. Then, I worked out some more as they were located next to, above or below the names already on the grid. The rest I had to guess, like Winnie The Pooh, who had "new member" next to it. I also had to put some names in spots with a question mark (?) next to them, in case another name went there after more working out.

So, I eventually got all the names in the right spots, with the last name being Winnie.
