What Did You Notice About The Phases Of The Moon And The Affects On the Tides???

During my investigation I found out that the highest tide I recorded was 2.46m, I discovered the tide that was recorded highest was on the day of a new moon. The lowest high tide I recorded was 1.89m on the day of a last quarter. I found out that the highest tide is on a new moon and the lowest is on a last quarter. This is because the moon changes phase and the tides change heights and times. Everyday these phases, times and heights change.


Many people rely on the tides like fisherman. Fisherman rely on tides so they can catch yabbys etc. for bait in a low tide. High tide is when they go and fish for whiting etc.
